IRRICAN BARNWELL SOLAR PROJECT

IRRICAN is developing BARNWELL SOLAR PROJECT with support from Municipal District of Taber, RenuWell Energy Solutions, Canadian Solar Solutions Inc, Skyfire Energy and Orphan Well Association.

This project is strategically located in Barnwell, Alberta on the site of an abandoned well that has been under the supervision of the Orphan Well Association.  

BARNWELL SOLAR PROJECT is part of the RenuWell Pilot Project, which will demonstrate the potential of using abandoned and orphan oil and gas infrastructure for community solar development. 

It is made possible with funding support from 

Municipal Climate Change Action Centre  and Alberta Innovates.
